Dermot Gallagher is not fit to referee

Sunday, December 11th, 2005

Dermot Gallagher sent off Gilberto in the Newcastle vs. Arsenal game.

Dermot Gallagher had a 0/10 performance in the game, and he sent off Gilberto COMPLETELY unfairly. Gilberto had made only three fouls all game, and Dermot “The Cunt Of The Century” Gallagher sent him off, while letting Newcastle players scissor tackle Arsenal players, and kick Arsenal players in the head.

The fact Gilberto was sent off was the reason Arsenal lost the game.

Dermot Gallagher is hereby declared The Invisiblewall.net Cunt Of The Century.

Here is a picture of Gallagher sending off Gilberto:

In conclusion: Dermot Gallagher is not fit to referee.

Gilberto will be rested for Ajax game

Tuesday, December 6th, 2005

Arsene Wenger said this:

Freddie Ljungberg, Robert Pires, Gilberto Silva, Sol Campbell and Jens Lehmann will be rested. All the others are in the group. It is a chance for us to be top of the group unbeaten, bounce back from the disappointment at Bolton and give a chance to some younger players.

Never mind. Hopefully he will be rested up and ready for the Newcastle game on Saturday – a chance to mend his reputation after his bad game last weekend.

Gilberto has “0/10 performance”

Saturday, December 3rd, 2005

Because this site is completely unbiased, I will offer the Gilberto-loving public some quotes on what unhappy Arsenal fans thought of the best player in the world (Gilberto’s) performance in the following game:

Result: Bolton 2 – 0 Arsenal

Apparently, Gilberto made a very poor pass in his own half which led to Arsenal conceding a goal, and they say he was very poor all game:

Gilberto – 2/10 – I don’t think I’m being harsh at all, but it was a disgusting performance from Gilberto. Did nothing. Constantly lost possession, and tried silly things. His inivsible wall ability was invisble today. Can someone please find statistics on the number of passes he attempted and didn’t even come close to completing today? I’d say it was at 85% or something. Error for the goal was the icing on the cake for him. Some players need dropping from time to time, I’d say he’s one of them.

2/10 is a generous mark for Gilberto.

I’m starting to think Gilberto might not be good enough. I still believe the problem is defensive though – no one shouting out the orders at the back.

I am a Gilberto fan, but this was his worst game by far. The whole team was 1/10. Lacklustre indeed.

It is obviously disapointing to hear that Gilberto had such a bad game. I personally haven’t seen the game yet, but I will watch the highlights and then come to my own conclusions as to what might be wrong with the lovely boy called Gilberto. Then I will post them here, as I always do.

So there you go.

EDIT: Here’s F365’s latest dig at Gilberto:

Cesc Fabregas will become one of the league’s most accomplished players but only in tandem with a hard-tackling, committed midfielder. Such as Vieira. But certainly not Gilberto Silva.

The Brazilian is a World Cup winner, but so too are Roque Junior and Kleberson. He deserves the comparison.

On the basis that he receives so little censure, Silva is, to my mind, the most over-rated player in the Premiership. He is simply abysmal; slow, careless in possession, weak in the tackle and prone to disappearing acts. At least one half of his moniker of the ‘Invisible Wall’ is accurate.

One suggestion is that Wenger believed that Vieira’s departure would be the making of Silva. On the contrary, it has simply found him out.

Trying to recall a match in which Silva has excelled is in an exercise in futility. If, on the other hand, you attempt to recall a match in which Silva matched his efforts at Bolton then simply stop rewinding after seven days and consider the warning signs sent out as Blackburn’s Robbie Savage and Steven Reid bossed the midfield at Highbury.

Hmm. Comparing him to Kleberson? Very harsh.

I have faith in Gilberto though. After he has a man of the match performance against Ajax, his bad game against Bolton will be forgotten.

‘It would be ideal to play with somebody like Silva’

Friday, December 2nd, 2005

“If Arsenal did sign me it would be ideal to play alongside somebody like Gilberto. It would be great to have someone to help me there, as Gilberto would, for sure. We share the same language, same culture etc, so it would make things easier.”

This is what 29 year old ‘Sanna’ said last night. I have absolutely no idea who he is, but he likes Gilberto, so he must be a legend of some sort.
